  1. hmmmm, maybe I’ll have to write that book about Fiona in Australia. She refers to that caper in High Desert Detective (but we don’t know what happened.) I’ve never been to Australia but it is on my bucket list. Bronwen goes back regularly and I’ve threatened to go with her one of these trips. Y’all take care. 🙂

  2. Thanks! You made my night (or day) as the case may be. Happy Holidays! I just liked your site on my FB author page. What a great Pinterest site you have! Wow! I posted your blog link on my FB author page. Happy New Year!

  3. Great! I’ll be interested to see what you think of Book 2. I must say I like your design ideas. Very elegant. I have to tell you a funny story about Designer Detective. I have a very good friend who’s Australian, has lived in the states for years, and likes interior design. (She’s from Sydney.) I wrote the book for her since she and I have the same sense of humor. Fiona Marlowe was originally Australian. So my friend, Bronwen, read the book, liked it, but said, “I love Fiona but she’s not Australian.” Fiona became Irish American. We both still laugh over that one. I recently posted your review on my “remodeled” Facebook author page. Designer Detective so far is my best selling book.

    1. Thank you for the feedback, Marjorie 🙂 I must say, it so very exciting to be speaking with one of my favourite authors!

You’re friend sounds hilarious! I have to agree there: Irish American does suit Fiona a lot more 😉

I’ll be sure to post a review of Book 2 over the holidays; I can’t wait to read it!!!

    1. That was a very fun post to write for a very fun book indeed! I’m so glad we could be of service 🙂 I’ve had Book 2 on my ‘To Read’ list for a while now, I’ve been saving it for the holidays!

I may just have to add an honorable mention to this here post!!
