Could you tell us about Perini Tiles’ background:
Perini Tiles started in Bendigo over 40 years ago when John Perini opened his first tile shop and also offered bathroom and kitchen renovations. After 25 years, the Perini family moved to Melbourne. Read more about the Perini empire’s background here.
Which countries do you source your materials from?
Most of our tiles are designed and manufactured in Europe, mainly Italy. We receive the latest trends on a regular basis. Our tiles are sourced from the most reputable manufacturers all over the world, giving us a broad and diverse collection.
What sets Perini Tiles apart from the other tile showrooms?
Perini Tiles are renowned for their excellent customer service and their large range of tiles on offer. Our displays are constantly changing to cater for the latest and greatest tile trends. All our staff are highly trained and qualified interior designers, allowing our clients a more hands on and specialised approach to making selections for all their finishes, from tiles to benchtops and paint colours.
Perini is famous for their immense tile collection; what other products and services do you offer?
Perini Tiles offer the complete Bisazza mosaic collection including designer pieces from the Bisazza Bagno bathware range as well as Italian made basins. Aside from Perini Tiles, we have another showroom: Perini Kitchens & Bathrooms which showcases the latest in kitchen design and trends. Our renovations team can provide you with a complete project, from design straight through to construction.
And finally, which are your favourite tiles?
My personal favourite tiles are the new handmade Sofia tiles which are available in an amazing array of colours and formats. This unique collection is made completely by hand and is even baked in an old fashioned kiln! (Click here to read more on handmade tiles).
