Bisazza first began producing mosaic tiles in Alte Vicenza, Northern Italy back in 1956 and has since become the world leader in the design and manufacture of glass mosaics. Bisazza has collaborated with many influential designers over the years, including Marcel Wanders and Jaime Hayon to create the masterpiece collections they are well known for. Since their founding, Bisazza has expanded their product offering to include luxurious Designer Bathware Collections, Cement Tiles, and the new Wooden Tile Collections.

Wood Collection Tiles
in collaboration with Studio Job, Bisazza has created a new take on traditional timber flooring. Bisazza and Studio Job’s Wood Collection is made using European Oak Timber: the tile consists of a hardwood layer of 4mm, which is then glued to a birch plywood of 12mm (giving you a total tile thickness of 16mm). Available shapes and sizes in this series include a 200 x 200mm square tiles as well as a 200 x 230mm hexagonal shape. Each shape is available in four stunning shades: Cuoio, Marron Glacé, Moka and Naturale.
The Wood Collection Tiles are installed by means of an interlocking system which provides the added bonus of making installation much quicker and easier, as well as providing retention of floor stability over time.

Each tile in the Wood Collection is compatible with Bisazza’s already existing Cement Tile range, (examples of which are included below) opening the door to creative combinations of wood and cement surfaces, creating a highly tactile environment, rich with colour and texture.

Original and Creative are both words that accurately describe Bisazza – the brand is known for its ability to adapt, create and customise all their products, always putting the needs and style of their clients first. Of course, The Wood Collection does not disappoint in its ability to be custom suited: The pieces can be coloured and even laser engraved to create a truly unique product that is designed and created to cater to your specific requests.
At this stage, there is no set date for when these luxurious timber tiles will be available in Australia so we certainly are looking forward to hearing much more in the coming months!
